Dr. Sudhir Shrestha

Dr. Sudhir Shrestha is an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at California State University, Sonoma State (SSU). He holds a Ph.D. and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Prior to joining SSU, he was a visiting faculty member at Miami University in Ohio and a research faculty member at Purdue University in Indianapolis. He also has several years of postdoctoral and industry experience.

Areas of Expertise

Sensing Breath VOCs for Diabetese, Robotics, AI, Embedded computing, and Biomedical devices.

Highlights

He holds seven patents and has more than 35 publications. He is a tenured professor at SSU and a Senior Member of IEEE. He has received NSF Smart and Connected Health and CSU Biotech Faculty Research grants. He is also the founder and director of the SSU Intelligent Systems Lab.
